- 13:15 Japanese values, customs and etiquette in daily lives (society, family, hierarchy, harmony, language, etc.)

- 14:15 Japanese Business World (the concept of ‘Face’, verbal & non-verbal communication, hierarchy, meeting and dining etiquette, negotiating with the Japanese, decision process, etc.) Includes a case study for analysis
- 15:45 Basic Japanese – learn the basics to show you care!
- 16:00 Q&A and Summary

The event is open to any UK company with a genuine interest in exporting their goods or services to Japan.
How to Take Part
The event is free and on a first come first served basis. To receive an invite, please email firstname.lastname@example.org to fill them in on where you are with your export plans in Japan and your aims for attending this event. This will help UKTI Yorkshire to further tailor the content to demand.
