Professor Yamanaka to Open iPS Cells Symposium
The iPS Cells in Drug Discovery & Development symposium runs from Thursday 16th January to Saturday 18th January 2014.
The event will include key speakers from the UK, US and Israel and will be opened by Nobel Laureate Prof. Shinya Yamanaka of Centre for iPS Cell Research and Application (CiRA).
It includes lectures and active discussions with distinguished industry figures.
This is a rare and valuable opportunity for British life sciences companies to connect with key opinion leaders and R&D departments of top Japanese biotech and pharmaceutical companies.
It has been organised jointly by Takeda Science Foundation and CiRA at Kyoto University and will take place Takeda Pharmaceutical Company’s seminar house in Osaka.
The seminar has no participation fee and UKTI Japan has worked with organisers to secure free onsite accommodation for delegates from UK firms.
The event also includes a poster exhibition for companies which is also free to join.
