Japan Business Legend Dr. Inamori Lecture

Dr. Kazuo Inamori, the business mind behind the development of communications giant KDDI and the transformation of Japan Airlines is to give an inspirational public lecture in Oxford.

"Rebuilding Japan Airlines: the Inamori Way"

Dr. Inamori's revolutionary approach to doing business has earned him respect and prestige not only in Japan but around the globe, most notably for his transformation of Japan Airlines.

In 2010, he took on Japan's bankrupt national carrier and in three years transformed it into a successful company which was re-listed on the Tokyo Stock Exchange as the most profitable airline in the world.

He has a wealth of knowledge in business, with 55 years experience of building up his two companies Kyocera and KDDI from scratch. These two giants currently have combined sales of nearly 7 trillion yen.

Dr. Inamori is also the author of a number of bestsellers in Japan, China and other parts of Asia. This lecture will be his first major public lecture in Europe.

In this lecture, "Rebuilding Japan Airlines: the Inamori Way" he will describe the importance of igniting the minds of all employees so that they all take an active role in the success of their company.
