The UK’s Department for International Trade in Japan is accepting applications from innovative and growing British energy companies to visit Japan and explore available trade and cooperation opportunities.
The British Embassy Tokyo is organising a trade mission to Tokyo and Osaka, Japan from 13 to 16 February 2018.
Mission participants will also have an opportunity to speak at two seminars in Tokyo and in Osaka and attend networking receptions at the British embassy and one-to-one meetings with potential partners in Japan.
Please find below a tentative outline of the mission programme:
Tuesday 13 February
AM: Briefing at the British Embassy.
PM: ‘UK Energy Innovation Seminar’ and networking reception at the British Embassy. Over 100 guests from Japanese companies are invited. Each participating company will have a presentation slot. One to one meetings can be arranged.
Wednesday 14 February
One to one meetings can be arranged, or own arrangement.
Thursday 15 February
15:30 – 16:30: Attend ‘Energy Global Meeting – UK session’ at ENEX, the Energy Supply & Service Showcase at Tokyo Big Sight. More information here: http://www.low-cf.jp/east/eng/outline.html
Travel to Osaka.
Friday 16 February
PM: Mission delegates to take part in a seminar followed by a networking reception. The event is organised in collaboration with the Osaka Chamber of Commerce.
Each participating company will have a presentation slot. Over 80 guests from Japanese companies based in Osaka are invited. One to one meetings can be arranged upon request.
Participation Fee: £660 (excluding VAT)
Travel expenses, including flight and accommodation, are to be covered by individual participants.
