Background to the Event

Failure is not an option.

With the eyes of the world on you, delivering the greatest sporting event in the world, on budget, on time, and with great panache, would be a challenge for any organisation - let alone one that has to be built from scratch. Our speaker on February 17, Lord Deighton, led London 2012 as Chief Executive of London Organising Committee of the Olympic and Paralympic Games (LOCOG) and will share his views and experiences on just what it takes to deliver a successful multi-game, multi-national mega event.
